Why aren't there any books on OM in OM PLACE? According to some scholars, the whole of vedic literature is an effort to explicate the OM. I would go further. The whole of yoga and for many the whole of life is an effort to come into contact with and understand the fundamental vibration of the universe and the way it forms and moves through us. This is OM. Every object we offer is related to and advances our progression toward unity with this basic force that guides all things. So, the whole website could be in OM PLACE, and while this would be cosmically interesting, it would not be an aid to site navigation or ease of shopping. What is found below are reminders of this deeper level of life that we sometimes forget, as our minds become entangled in maya. Keeping an OM pendant near your heart, or an OM magnet on your fridge, can be very centering, as it is a constant reminder of ultimate reality. |
