This soft, pastel
colored, chakra poster is an effort to describe our aura, the
luminous egg of energy surrounding our physical being and the
7 vortices or meridians which create the web of energetic flow
often referred to as the chakra system.
On the left hand side of the poster, the Sanskrit
names of the chakras are found, followed by a description including location,
colors and physical and emotional areas associated with each. On the right hand
side of the poster, the musical note and descriptions of symptoms of underactive/overactive
and balanced chakra activity are given for each.
Here is an example of the text for the Manipura
Chakra:
On left: "Manipura, solar plexus. The third chakra is located a hands width
above the navel where the rib cage divides. Colours being orange and yellow,
itconnects with our abdominal area, digestive system, spleen and navel. Here
lives our will, ego identity and personal power, our metabolism and autonomy." On
right: "If the Solar Plexus chakra is too strong one gets demanding, have
extreme emotions. Be judgmental and a workaholic. Weakness breeds confusion,
depression, lack of confidence and loneliness. Balanced, it gives us a cheerful,
outgoing, self-respectful approach with strong personal power and will, relaxed
and spontaneous, settled in a talent or gift."
This
poster is printed on high quality stock with a protective matte finish and measures
approximately 17 by 24 inches.
