Lotus Spike Mat
Don't be fooled by its spiky appearance - this mat
is built for hardcore relaxation! Using the methods of acupressure,
its 6,500 plus points stimulate the tactile corpuscles - nerve endings
just below the skin - like its ancient predecessor, the bed of nails.
This induces the release of endorphins into the blood, stimulates
circulation and increases oxygen intake. |
|
Lotus Spike Pillow
This companion to the Lotus Spike
Mat can do wonders all by itself. Much more comfortable than you would
initially suspect, the neck pillow stimulates nerve endings around
the cervical spine to help alleviate stress and increase circulation.
I can say from successful experimenting the sensation of
those tiny spikes at the base of your skull is stimulating and enjoyable. |

Salubrion Enso Clock
Its very high quality recordings of Japanese and Tibetan singing
bowls make you look forward to hearing this unique timer go off. Its special
Interval Timing function allows the user to set up to 50 timers for
customizing any sequence of sessions. It can also be used simply as an alarm
clock. Imagine waking up gently to the sound of singing bowls! |

Kulae 8-foot D-ring Straps
These durable, light weight, all-cotton straps are designed
to go the distance. The extra long eight-foot straps give you ample room to
extend your reach and wrap around your hands - deepening the stretch and stabilizing
your pose. The D-ring buckles are also lightweight, but sturdy and the securely
stitched ends mean no pesky metal tabs. |

Daily Energy Vinyasa Flow DVD
This is the perfect DVD for busy yogis! Shiva Rea says that
practicing each day, even for short periods, is more beneficial than an occasional
longer session. These seven dynamic 20-minute
sequences make it easy to fit yoga in. The segments can be mixed, matched
and combined using the DVD's Yoga Matrix to create a fantastic variety of longer
practices. |

This beauti ful, philosophical look at the body and the practice of yoga, is

all
who view
it. |

yoga teacher who, in this volume, shares her special philosophy, while

Spirit Community Website HV
For those on the path in the Hudson Valley region of New York this
site will be a welcome guide to what is going on. In just two weeks 75 members
have joined and have begun sharing about dozens of events like kirtans, body
work
demonstrations, meditations, and art workshops . There is a directory
where you can find teachers and resources. There are blogs, groups and more. |
As much as I like all the
great new items we are offering this month, I don't think any of
them excite me as much as the new Spirit Community Website for the
Hudson Valley. Something that is clear to me is that Yoga Centers
around here and all over have become way more than just places to
do yoga. They are often centers for all kinds of explorations, events
and community offerings. Unfortuntately, what is going on in each
place is often not well publicized due to lack of time, budgets,
interests of local media, etc. The spirit community site is a way
to jump over all that so that seekers and teachers can come together
directly, circumventing limits and reaching over borders. Already
people are learning about great things they never would have known
about and people are coming together, who never would have met. How
cool is that?
If you are in or near the Hudson Valley Region of NY, please check
it out and join in. If not, I hope you'll use it when you come to
visit.

PS I have found that sending the monthly
emailing twice is welcomed by most recievers. Some like the reminder
of items they were considering and quite a few miss the first go
round due to busy lives and volumes of email, so there is a better
chance they have time to look at it if it comes again. I will put
Reprise in the subject line and title of resends so those who have
seen them can ignore them and not fear that they are missing something
;-) Apologies to anyone who has asked to be taken off the list
in the last 6 weeks, we are a little behind with that but hope
to be caught up soon... |
