Dhyana Mudra Pendant Necklace
This high quality American
made, sterling silver pendant is a representation of a mudra
or energy lock often used by practitioners during seated
meditation. Dharma says the mudras help to close the circuits
of energy inside us, allowing those energies to flow properly
and in a contained way. The traditional Dhyana Mudra is done
with the right hand under the left with the finger tips extended
and the thumbs touching. I like a similar gesture with my
fingers interlaced and the thumbs touching and often imagine
the space created as an eye or an energy vortex , somehow
related to the third eye, helping to unite upper and lower
energies, as my mind settles down. This pendant is a nice
reminder of the peace and tranquility of practice. It is
nearly circular and one and one-quarter inches across and
comes with a twenty-eight inch black satin cord. |
