bends, and back bends. Each posture is explained in a slow

way by experienced yoga teacher Natasha and and her assistants
Autumn and Jason. The instructional portion of the DVD lasts
for thirty-five
minutes, and is followed up with a twenty minute flowing workout.
The Step by Step series by Yoga Journal is a three-DVD series which includes Foundation Poses for Strength and Stamina, Bending and Twisting Poses for Flexibility, and Balancing Poses for Focus and Energy. When used sequentially, these DVDs provide the background that any new yogi needs to feel confident and supported in starting a yoga practice. This classroom-like set also provides a tremendous resource for yoga teachers looking for a great, clear example of how to introduce students to yoga in an approachable and understandable way.
