Woven into the great traditional Indian Chants one hears
African rhythms, electronic music and electric and bass
guitars. KDs vocals are accompanied by Sting on two tracks
and a female chorus dubbed the Kirtan Posse at different

Das wrote or co wrote every track, though it retains much
of the feel of his traditional Indian musical roots and
most of the lyrics are traditional Sanskrit. This is joyous
and uplifting music that will have you chanting along,
transported by adoration of
the Lord.
Krishna Das is an internationally
acclaimed recording artist and devotee of Neem Karoli Baba.
Through his Kirtans, concerts and recordings (many of which
appear on this site), KD has introduced many thousands of
people to chanting as spiritual practice.
